When received 2nd bill from Verizon for FIOS services, it included $185 charge for MLB Extra Innings. I called the company to tell them I never watch baseball and didn't order the service. They refused to withdraw the charges. I elevated the issue. They still refused to remove the charges. I wrote them an email, wrote them a letter. They still refused to remove the charges. I believe the agent I ordered FIOS with padded the bill (are they paid on commision?) knowing I couldn't get out of it. I have filed a complaint with the state of Virginia office of Consumer Protection, registered the issue with the Better Business Bureau, and I'm doing everything I can to let future FIOS users know about this deceptive practice.
