On 7/16/10 I had gotten an email about additional mark-downs, so I went to see what bargains I could find (stuff was on sale and an additional 40% off). As I was adding items to my cart, I noticed that FINAL SALE kept popping up-I had never seen that before. BEFORE I placed the order, I happened to check the customer section and it said that anything marked FINAL SALE was not returnable. I did a quick "online chat" and the rep confirmed that the return policy had just been changed the day before.
I can understand doing this in a store-and have seen it once items get to 75-80% off. But we are talking dresses and shoes still well over $50 each that you cannot try on when ordering online and you cannot return? Too risky for me-so I will no longer be buying from them (they lost a $300 sale on Friday!). Hopefully they will change once they see their online sales in particular go way down!
