My little Yorkie Poo was ran over by a car on May 16 th. I as a last resort because they were the only facility open brought her to Pet Smart. They took her in and I waited expecting to hear a Doctor tell me after stabilizing the dog what it would cost for X-Rays ans so on. I was informed after several hours and X-Rays later that the dog had swelling of the brain and would never be the same.
After asking several times throughout my 3 hour ordeal How much is this going to cost and never recieving an answer I was finally told $990.00 I dont know about you but I do not have the means to pay for this!
They proceeded to tell me if I did not pay they would immedetaly report me to the credit beru and how damaging this would be to me!
I then told them I refuse and will not pay for the dog and do what you have to because future medical care is not an option
I am a single mother with two Kids!
I left Pet Smart
Two hours later I recieved a call from Pet Smart that my dog was ready to pick up and I only owed them 500.00 Pick up meaning transported to an overnight facility because they close at 5:00 pm
Come to find out my dog was realesed to an employee of Pet Smart without my Permission and they want me to pay the 500.00 balance.
Again What the H*LL!!!
