Ordered a large cat house/post. I paid over $300.00.initialy I was not too impressed but not so much so that I felt it necessary to return the item. After a month there are areas that were glued that are coming apart. The cat can not use the carpet to scratch because they used a loop style carpet and claws get caught in those. Makers who are reputable and know what they are making do not use a loop carpet. I have to frequently unhook my cats claws. The carpet is of such low quality it is shedding faster than any of my animals. This is not the cat shredding the item. There are bald spots from her climbing it. I have lately discovered there are areas where the staples are in fact missing so it was necessary that I buy a staple gun to repair those areas.
There are some possitive comments I could make but this is not a product review. I appreciate that the item is made in the United States of America and that is a selling point included in thier online site. Made in the U.S. Of A. Means better quality than this. The cost to return this is way more than repairs so far. I have thought about contacting them but other than to complain I do not see any point in doing so. Please know that you can get betetr for your money (even if its more money) by buying from a store in your local community. I do feel ripped off.
