Owner refuses to return deposit

John F "Nick" Nicholson, owner of TEBC refuses to return $125 security deposit for virtual office lease agreement. His employee closed our virtual account prematurely, yet he insists on billing our firm for services that we did not receive.

I maintained contact with the office manager, Ms. Brenda Long, until the office physically closed Dec 31. Ms. Long informed me that she had discussed the situation with "Nick" and that he was being stubborn in refusing to return the deposit.

In February Mr. Nicholson mailed a bogus invoice stating that we owed the standard monthly fees and late charges for the month of October, although his employee, Kelly Odell, closed our account on or before October 1.

To add insult to injury, Mr. Nicholson refuses to respond to any correspondence or phone calls and has threathened to withhold these funds indefinitely unless we issue him payment first. Phone calls have remained unanswered, emails have been returned undeliverable.

We originally filed our request on October 12, and are no longer wishing to be patient with Mr. Nicholson, but to pursue restitution to the fullest extent allowed by law.
