June of year I renewed a Month to Month membership member #3712 at Firm Fitness which was $30.71 on a monthly basis with a 30 day cancellation policy.
August was approached by agent at the gym to solicit a full year paid in full and cancellation of the month to month membership. I paid in full the membership.
September Firm Fitness continued to charge my card account. Contacted the gym assured they would stop the charges for the canceled membership. Ask to speak to Tangerine and she was not available on a daily basis and would not return my calls.
October Firm Fitness charged my card account again... Visited there daily to get it stopped. Finally gentleman at counter zeroed out the charges in the system so it would not charge my card.
November no charges. I disputed the charges with credit card. Charges were credited back and then rejected later by gym. Tangerine would not return my calls.
December new charges... They reactivated the charges to my account. Also added a gym improvement fee of $25.00. Closed gym Firm Fitness and opened a new gym under new name at location miles away.
January new charges to my account, disputed the charges with credit card account. Firm Fitness rejected and they went back to my account again. Tangerine would not call me.
February new Charges to my account, disputed the charges with credit card account. Firm Fitness rejected and they went back to my account again.
March new Charges to my account, disputed the charges with credit card account. Firm Fitness rejected and they went back to my account again.
April new charges, requested new credit card account and a block against Firm Fitness and the credit card account sent new card and charges were still put against my credit card account. Received letter from my credit card stating that they could not block the Firm Fitness from my account because they were a certain type of merchant where it is not allowed.
Contacted the gym and ask Tangerine Manning to call me and she did not. Filed a police report in the City of Fort Lauderdale.
