Sylvie Petitclerc advertises frequently in popular community websites such as kijiji. She claims to sell only purebred dogs, but is either not providing the CKC registrations to the buyers or she is providing false registration papers as in my case. I bought a shih tzu from her in May. The papers I requested to see to verify the pedigree were copies or made up because I contacted the breeder to whom she supposedly bought it from. The papers clearly identify the Waardenburg from Pointe-Claire, Quebec as the breeder. Caroline Waardenburg has confirmed that she never sold any of her champion-line puppies to Sylvie Petitclerc. I am afraid that she is essentially running a puppy mill. She breeds many, many different breeds on a regular basis. My puppy was diagnosed with severe hip dysplasia in both hips at the tender age of 18 months. I love her and will keep her, but my heart is broken to see that my puppy should probably have never been born. I will take care of her until her time comes, but I should have paid almost $700 for her. I feel ripped off and have since Googled this individual and her name is being mentioned quite often as a very dishonest person. She scams people and rip off their money. She needs to be arrested and charged and convicected; the puppy mill shut down and the breeding dogs rescued.
