I received a DVD titled "When Women Lost Their Tales" on 4/20/10. Fearful of what this might be, I googled the company Comm-Services and found a lot of rip off notifications. I called Comm Services and Linda (call-center line) said that the DVD is free but & the charge of $9.95 is for S&H. The DVD came in a small white envelope! Anyways, she took down my info (name, address, tele#) and said she would send it over for them to refund. I decided to go to the web site seen on another rip off report and it states "Comm-Services collects users financial information such as name, address & credit card numbres fro billing purposes only." This needs to STOP! I did not authorize this purchase and in fact the only way to order is Phone, Fax, Regular Mail or E-mail. None of which I did seeing as how I had never heard of this place until I googled them today (4/21/10).
I then checked my banking acct and sure enough I had been billed $9.95 on 3/31/10. The next call is to my bank.
I saw references to Ikitchen as the culprit. I did place & order last year for a coffee maker and rec'd quite a run-around until I called the bank and told them they wouldn't refund me the $. This type of business should be fined, jailed or whipped!
