Bellsouth they are telling me since i no longer pay them online, with my debit card they are going to cut me off

Lets see where do i start with ATT? I had there phone service years ago. Then i went to my cable provider. That was a mistake also. But anyway, ATT decided that i did not pay my last bill, i had a letter staing i did from the ceo, telling me he was sorry for the mistake. The thing is, i was trying to borrow enough money to bury my Mother when she died in 2007. The bank would not let me have the money becuase they said i had a old bill with att and it had to be paid first, and i had to have a letter stating it had been paid. I did get the money to bury my Mother, but had to get a friend to sign with me because of that old bill. Even tho it was paid. Now to the Now. I gave up the cable compnay so i needed a internet SP. Gues what? ATT was the only one who did this in my area, i live in the country. I wanted the fastest speed, and the bill was to be 24.95 for the first year. But i had to put up a 50 dollar dep. I did. So as many people do, i started paying it online with my debit card. Well my account at the bank was compremised. So i closed it. I called att told then and wrote them i have all the proof. Told them i would be making the payment at a place here in town, so they sent me some names of places who do this. I pay on time, well really before time. I recived a letter in the mail telling me word for word.
If you have an ATT product such as ATT High Speed internet service that requires your enrolment in an aotomatic payment prograham to which you previously agreed and you do not continue/update your inrollment, ATT may disconnect the product. Disconnection of your ATT high speed may result in an early termination fee being charged to your account. If this applies to you you must contact us with in 10 days or your service will be disconnected.
Now we all know what this means. You cant get anything unless you sighn a 2 year contract with them. I never made that agreement with them, i just payed it online with my debit card and thought that would be ok. The said i could use any credit card. They did not tell me i had to give them permission to take it out of my account each month. That was my choice to do if i wished. Or i could get a paper bill. I said i wanted a paper bill, but that i would pay online right then. Well because of Directv, i had to close my bank account. You can see that under Directv. And i will not give anyone my new account #. But i have payed my bill on time or before here in town at a place they told me to go to and make payments. I have kept all my rcipts. So watch out people. Everyone wants your bank acct#. You know it s funny how a company always wants your money. But when it come to there good service, oh well, you ve heard it i am sure. I am tired of paying for something i have nt gotten yet. Or that they do a breach of contract, and some how they get away with it but you cant. I also reported them to the BBB, and Comsumer Protection Agency. Even the FCC. My soul is not for sale to the devil. Lol
