Below is one of the many letters that my husband and I have sent to Tax Care Pros. I again after the below sent additional letters and emails with no answer what-so-ever. We, as I am sure others out there, have lost and have been ripped off from this company for $4,400 which is hard earned money. We have submitted mail packets of ALL of my/our emails/complaints/documentation/faxes etc to support what we are saying to, one of the Attorneys below and the two supposed cpa's's... As in Tony's RIppedOff report that he submitted we also came in "contact" with the individuals below but were no help.
Copy of letter to TCP:
My wife and I have been in contact with your office through e-mail on numerous occasions regarding the complaints we have had. (Please see the corresponding e-mails) To date, we have not had an appropriate response from Tax Care Pros. I would like to see your cancellation policies and procedures. I am also asking to speak with your upper management staff regarding the same. I also want to see any and all documentation that has already been compiled and copies of any communication with the IRS that was made on our behalf, that will support the monies we have paid to date of $4,400 for in our case.
I find it interesting that your firm was not an Entity capable of conducting business in the State of California prior to July 13. If it is an entity capable of conducting business under the laws of California, I would like to know under what applicable laws you were doing business.
At this time, we still have not received a response in several weeks. We are asking for a full refund of $4,400 that has been paid to date. I firmly believe that your firm has not performed $4,400 worth of work to date.
If so, as we have asked numerous times in the past and as documented by the attached copies of e-mails sent to your firm, we would like copies of any and all documentation on our behalf sent to the IRS. Due to this situation we are in danger of having levies, additional interest, penalties and garnishments against us. We would also like a day to day accounting on billings against our account on what work was performed, the time spent and how it equated out in terms of deductions from the $4,400 as most reputable law firms do. We retained your services in Good Faith but have yet to receive any professional actions nor responses from your Firm.
As it states on the firms website that your company has been featured on CNN, ABC, CBS and MSNBC. We are at this point ready to contact these television/news programs and our local television/news station about your lack of response and unprofessionalism and taking the $4,400 that we worked very hard for. I am sure this will make a very informative "people interest" story. Especially in this current economy where US Citizens such as ourselves are struggling to makes ends meet and still are making the efforts to honor our tax liabilities at the same time.
We are also going to contact the California State Bar Association to file a complaint against you, Shannon McMaster, Esq, CAF No. 0305-36433R and Olga Nieves, CAF No. 0304-06375R if no response is received within 7 days. If this is not met, a complaint will be made accordingly to the State of California Bar Association, the State of California Attorney Generals Office, the California Secretary of States Office and the California Franchise Tax Board as per the advice of our attorney.
