I was charge for an event that didn't take place where it was announced

I was robbed for a company call "New Generation Latino Consortium" and Wantickets which is the company who sold me the ticket for an event that never took place. I found the information online about a Networking Event on the Harvard Club in New York at 6 PM on April 5 but when I get there nobody of this organization was actually there, I called the number that they put everywhere to promote the event and it was an unattended cell phone where even though I left a message nobody got back to me. Apparently this number (917) 345-4025 is of somebody called David Chitel based on information I found on a Blog. I emailed next day Wantickets to get the refund of my money and a girl called Rebecca Sin denied to give me my money back even though the information of the event wasnt clear and I didnt receive even a confirmation y email about my purchase with the details of the event. Sadly Im not surprised with this attitude, if this would happened to me on any other event on the general market for sure I would have gotten my money back in minutes. So sad how this company is screwing not just the name of their sponsors but also the reputation of these kind of un-organized messy events, I will never even try to get to one of these things were people just want to take your money and avoid responsibilities.
