03/02 was the date I went into this establishment to get a manicure and a pedicure. The pedicure I had no problem with. When I got the manicure the nail polish was not satisfactory, the manager "John" agreed it was not done well and advised the technician to correct. She advised me to choose another color which I declined and suggested that I would rather not get the manicure afterall.
She removed the color and only after that did I notice the poor workmanship of the trimming of the cuticles and the uneven filing of the nails. When I brought this to the manager "John's" attention he refused to correct the issue because he stated that this was not my "original complaint" only that the color was. I did advise him that I had not noticed the poor work until the technician removed the polish. John went into a tirade about how the technician has 3 or 4 kids and needs the money and how she spent 15 minutes on my manicure. The time he stated she spent is inaccurate, having spent a quick 3-4 minutes (if that).
He did agree to take off $5.00 because the polish was unsatisfactory but refused to take off the rest of the manicure totaling $15.00. During the entire discussion with John I repeatedly asked him to look at the work done on the fingers, he refused to even glance at it. Several times during our discussion he simply turned around and ignored my objection to lack of service. He would not look at me, or listen to my concerns. John even threatened to call the police if I wouldn't pay for service that I did not receive.
The technician was behind me explaining to him to just go ahead and take it off but he still refused. I am very upset that I was treated this way because I am not what they would call a "regular". If John offered to fix the work that was not done, I would have happily paid any price they posted. It is when the work is not done that I feel cheated. When he threatened to call the police I was beside myself. I am not what one would call a "trouble maker" or a "cheat" but I do feel cheated.
I have been to this establishment a few other times before and it seems to me that they have increased prices and decreased the quality and amount of their work. I am very disappointed with the customer service I have received. I already reported them to the BBB only with no response...
