On 12/22 a gift certificate was purchased at ONQ DaySpa after I had contacted them on the same day asking the cost of a manicure, pedicure and a 1hr massage. The girl stated that they had a package that included a manicure, pedicure, facial and a1hr massage. I thought that was a great deal since it was close. When she went into the Spa to get an appt for her day at the spa on January 7th the owner Lee Dinx stated the gift certificate was not good for a manicure, pedicure, facial and 1hr masssage that it was only good for the manicure, pedicure and facial. After hearing this she let me know and today I went to ONQ Day Spa to speak with someone regarding what I was sold and what they were not honoring. The woman told me that anyone could have checked the boxes and that they would not honor the certificate except for a manicure, pedicure and a facial. I was purchasing the gift certificate for the manicure, pedicure and massage the facial was just a bonus in buying the package. I was accused of actually defacing a certificate and really "stealing" which is outrageous when all I want is my money back since they will not honor what was sold. This establishment does not care about the consumer or what an employee stated, filled out and sold to the customer. They are essentially robbing me of $110 of my money that I want back to purchase my friend a massage for Christmas.
