Refusal to honor a refund request -
On April 14 I secured the services of Locator News to find an apartment. I was told that the refund policy states that if after 90 days I do not find an apartment
I am entitled to a refund of my $229.00 fee. I complied with all the stipulations, I went in to get an updated listing a least twice a week (I kept all copies of the listings). Ater the 90 days were over I still hadn't found a suitable place to rent so I mailed in my refund request along with a copy of my policy, address verification and was told I was ineligible
to receive a refund which is incorrect since I followed all the stipulations on the refund policy.
I have been told by many people that have used thier services that that is how the always do it. They never give a refund they just tell you that you can use their services indefinitely. I don't want their services. I want a refund of my fee as per their guarantee.
I have all the documents needed in my possesion.
I'm a single mom and I cannot afford to lose $229.00 for services that were not satisfactory so please if you need a rental do it with another company not this den of thieves.
