After answering a job posting on craigslist I met with Steve Samuel Weaver, owner of Absolute Home Improvement. He promised me $125.00 per day to help complete a remoldeling project in Crosby, TX. He paid me $100.00 me the first day. After that I worked for 11 straight days without pay. He gave me promise after promise and then on the 12th day he and his foreman, Dave Holston, abandoned the job. I ended up finishing the job for the owner but was out about $1000.00. Stevr never answered my calls after that. I found out that he did not pay numerous other workers as well.
