I paid $1589 for a vinyl floor for my kitchen that was installed improperly. The sub-floor was not repaired to correct a low spot which resulted in a non-fixable problem. Now there is this suppression or crater in front of the refrigerator. The indentation is beneath a twelve foot wide roll of flooring and cannot be fixed without cutting out the bad section.
The owner/installer does not acknowledge my complaint and does not return my telephone calls. I feel he is ignoring me because he has been over to my house to inspect the problem and he realizes the serious problem with the floor. A new floor is the best solution because the affected problem area is in a high traffic lane and the problem will probably worsen each time someone walks over that spot.
It was an installation error and therefore I feel I should be entitled to a full refund of my money so that I can hire a more reputable company to re-do the floor. I do not trust Mr. Jackson (owner/installer) and do not want him in my house.
