Bufords Investigational Services was hired by WE Energies to serve me with legal documents informing me about a legal case. They reported to the courts I was served at my home and my description read white female 56 to 58 and between 140 to 160 pounds. I do not fit anywhere in this description. I was unaware of the court case until I received a letter saying a default judgment was entered in the other parties favor.
I would have certainly shown for the court date since I was making payments above the amount of the payment arrangement I set up with a WE Energies representative. Apparently the WE Energies representative did not enter the arrangement in the system. So even though I was paying well above what the representative had agreed to they were going to pursuing me in court. Which my account balance was around the $500 mark at this point due to some financial issues. I was making the payments and would be paid off in less then 4 months with the arrangements that were set up with the representative.
I contacted Bufords Investigational Services and have left several messages and have NEVER received a response on how this happened. Twice when I called between leaving several messages someone answered. The first time a man answered and said he heard the message and he was waiting for the servicing form to be returned to him because it was a servicer with a good reputation. He said the form would list a description of what the person serviced looked like. He said He would call me back in a day or so but there was nothing he could really do about the problem. After a week I still did not receive a call back. The second time a women told me that they do not receive the form back it is handed to the courts and their client. I asked her where I would complain about the situation. Them not providing the service could greatly impact someones life in a negative way. She said she would call me back with the information. Once again no return call.in trying to get answers I have left over 10 messages with NO ANSWERES.
I called WE Energies and a women read me the description of the person served. Which I did not fit anywhere near the description of White female 56 to 58 and between 140 to 160 pounds.
Because of them a default judgment was entered in their clients favor and they have no response on why or how this happened. How many other default judgments have been entered in their clients favor because they report false information?
