Southeast Telephone is a reseller of the AT&T network. You are much better off just going with AT&T because if there is a problem that exists between your home and the CO, then AT&T is the only one authorized to repair it.By using Southeast, the reseller, they string you along for weeks, never getting anything done. And they keep referring to it as "their" network. I had DSL service with them and something "snapped" late one night. My connection went from perfect to intermittent and the speed never went past double dialup speed. Most of the time the intermittent problem would cut things off, creating errors. Try taking a 2 hour college test online when that happens. Yes. I had to have it reset and then finally go to the campus lab. So much for $75 a month for "reliable" internet service!
Southeast gave the usual runaround and formalities like Trouble Ticket, Escalation, blah blah blah. After many weeks nothing at all got done. But the monthly bill sure made it to my mailbox!
Again, do your homework on these resellers. Dont use them. If you stop at some person's house to use their phone, do you go ask their neighbor? No. Ask the owner of the phone, in this case its AT&T. I switched to their service and got the luxury of paying less because I didnt need a landline. Setel forces you to use a landline.
