BE AWARE of Instant Tax Service out of Dayton Ohio, They offer a tax franchise with a $14,400 entry fee for their franchise. They tell you that you will make money your 1st year but is what they fail to tell you going in is that you will not make money until your 3rd or 4th year. Fez that is the president of Instant Tax Service has allowed 100's of franchises get involved then he keeps 100% of your money with out giving you any warning. Fez absolutely destroyed us in our market place. We opened up many locations had an incredible amount of over head then when it came time to get our 1ft profits 100% of our money was held and it put us out of business overnight. Fez got his $35,000 franchise fee for each location and we were left loosing over $350,000. DO NOT fall for this trap they have set. Also keep in mind that 80% of their business is generated off ADVANCE loans from the lax return, Its now very difficult to get approved by a bank to do these your 1st year or even 2nd year. (They don't tell you this) If you are interested in this type of a franchise go with a company that has been in business and dose not SCREW their franchisees.
