With today's economic hardships, I decided to try other avenues to search for employment. Reluctantly, I made the decision to upload my resume through my Yahoo account.
I logged into my Yahoo account, subscribed to MyJobs, and was giving a list of possibilities. I selected one of the websites, and was transfered to ultimateonlinejobs.com. I figured it had to be a reputable company to be listed on Yahoo, right? The program even stated there was a money back gaurantee! That was November 12.
Immediately, I read through the materials and applied for specific employment opportunities listed on the website. The next day I began receiving mass e-mails and spam from companies I never submitted a resume to. I have contacted those companies to thank them for the opportunity, declined the positions, and told them they received my resume in err. My resume clearly stated my career objective, so there could not be any confusion.
Since I received the first, incorrect, e-mail, I have tried to contact ultimateonlinejobs.com, swerg.org, Data Direct Jobs.com, and Jobs Legit Online.com to request a refund. I have sent a total of four requests to date, and still no response.
