I had financial difficulties & discontinued my service, the phone company sent me a bill for telephone services but not for Direct TV. DirectTv withdrew $289.95 almost my entire paycheck ($342bimonthly) on Sat. I called them immediately & tried to resolve the issue. I was extremely tearful at this point due to (how do I feed my household?). I did not get very far with a person who just passified me with apologies & would not connect me to a supervisor. Monday I receive a bill for services that seemed extremely high & fees for cancellation, I called immediately & spent the next 35 mins. On the phone. I first talked to a woman named Tina who kept telling me she was trying to bring up my charges & the reason for them after about 10 mins I told her I needed to speak with a person who could HELP me she said she would remove the cancellation charges & connected me with Nathan he was alittle more helpful in what he told me, that the phone company didnot pay them the full amount every month, but it was all CRAP. I made an agreement to send them payments till I paid off the balance of $254.88. I borrowed money & on Tuesday Directtv withdrew $260.94. I then went to the bank to file a dispute, they said I have to wait till it clears, which I said in the meantime they could attach more so I canceled the card. I plane to close the account. I told Directtv NOT to WITHDRAW any more MONEY from my account when I spoke to Nathan & they just did whatever they felt like. They are rippoffs & I don't understand how this is legal.
