Dear Mr. Hank Johnson:

I am writing because of a problem that I have encountered with your Company with respect to services that were promised to
me and for which I have paid $5,265.

Almost 4 months ago, I have assigned a contract with
your company where you agreed to provide Career Development
Services, which your company defines in multiple parts.

Your firm defines one component of these services as:
"Establishment of realistic and attainable long range objectives, which afford maximum satisfaction and income potential" - since I have not receive even a single employer response let alone an offer of employment since I contracted for services with Bernard Haldane Associates (BHA), it is self-evident that the objectives that BHA established are not
realistic nor attainable and there is certainly no satisfaction nor income potential on my behalf.

Your firm defines another component of Career Development Services as: "Development of a total program to assist the client in establishing appropriate level contacts." To this end, your advisor simply ask me to write down a list of my friends and other people whom I know in this area - is that what you call "establishing appropriate level contacts"? This sort of frivolous advice has no value, and represents your firm's only effort to provide service in this category.

Your VP in the San Diego office, Christine Fisher, promised that it would take about three months to get a job, and not just a job, but a job for my satisfaction and good income that would allow me to recover my $5,625 BHA fee very easy. This promise that your employee made to me served as an essential motivation for me to enter into a contract for services with Bernard Haldane Associates.

Furthermore, Ms Fisher stated that a significant part of the value of Career Development Services was that I would benefit from "the hidden jobs market that BHA has access to." However, I have not received a single proposal from that "market". It seems as if that market is so "hidden" that even Bernard Haldane
Associates does not know where it is as far as the services that were promised to me are concerned.

Also, Ms. Fisher said that since BHA charges me the
fee, BHA services are free for employers, and this "fact" makes BHA exclusively attractive for employers and BHA will provide much better jobs offer than recruiters who charge thousand of dollars from companies. However, you can look at me E-mail box and see that all the openings that BHA has referred me are from
recruiters from the Web site "6 Figures.com" which I found on my own and to which I had applied to online even before BHA sent me such information.

If necessary, I could continue to describe the valueless "services" that BHA has "provided" to me as well as my numerous attempts to work directly with your staff in order to remedy and rectify the situation; however, it should be clear from the fact and my brief description of them here that further
effort on my part to train and work with the employees of BHA to do the job that they already should know how to do and for which I paid $5,265 is inappropriate and futile.

Given Bernard Haldane Associates' utter failure to provide me with the services that were promised to me by your firm's representatives, here is what I want Bernard Haldane Associates to do for me: Refund 100% of $5,265 fee I was charged for your services due to the failure to provide services as promised in the written and verbal agreement. Taking in account the time that I have wasted relying on your promised but never delivered services and attempting to work with your staff to remedy the problem, I believe that such a solution is frankly generous to BHA. If such a remedy cannot be implemented immediately, you give me no choice but to pursue any and all legal resources at
my disposal to recover any and all damages available to me under the law whether or not it exceeds the settlement amount discussed herein. This offer is subject to cancellation at any time, and will expire automatically at 6 P.M. On Monday, August 13.

I have attempted to schedule direct meetings with you to resolve this matter, but your employees have repeatedly deflected my requests. I hope you can settle this problem in a timely and professional manner. I look forward to your response as soon as
possible.
