This sports bar, located in Harvey, Illinois, booked our band for a show. They were told the fee is five hundred dollars, but the band agreed to come down to four hundred. The band arrived early and set up. No customers came.
When questioned, the management in charge became beligerent, insisting that the lack of customers was somehow the band's fault and refused to pay us the four hundred dollars! The argument escalated to the point where the management asked us for money to "pay their rent" for the night. Unbelievable!
