I ordered a DVD from Double Discount.com in Oct/ Nov. I paid for the item which included insurance in case it was lost or damaged. I never received the DVD. I contested the charge with my bank who investigated my claim and denied it saying it was delivered. The delivery confirmation said it was delivered on Nov. 16 in Rochester, NY. There was no address on the delivery confirmation of proof to an actual address.
I made a complaint with the appropriate Better Business Bureau which never received a response to my complaint. I recently called the Better Business Bureau and found out the company is out of business and I would have to go to small claims court.
When I first started the investigaion of my package I did contact the company. I was told they do not ensure that a package is delivered. I paid for insurance through the company in case it was lost or damaged. From researching this company on the internet after my problems with them, I have learned that many people have been ripped off from this company and it's president Beverly Griffis. I want to warn people about this company and it's president if they ever try to reopen.in the mean time I am still figuring out a way to get my money back.
