Ripoff of $100 that I put as a down payment on living room set

In March I went to Nationwide Warehouse for this big sale they were having on their furniture. I made a down payment of $100 on a set that I picked out. I was told in two weeks it would be in for pickup and I could pay the remainder balance at that time. Two weeks later I called, it was not in. Another two weeks and still no furniture.

At that time I went up to get my money back. I filled out the required paperwork and was told within two weeks my money would be in the mail because they do not do refunds at the store. Along with the paperwork of my refund they gave me an 800 number to call and check the status of my refund.

Two weeks go by and no refund. I call the 800 number and guess what, it is not a working number. For three years now I have done everything in my power to get my money back. I have even put in a claim to the BBB. Still nothing.

Apparently the company went bankrupt and sold out to another company. But wouldn't you know the company went bankrupt and sold out days after I ordered my furniture. So I am out $100 and there is nothing I can do about it.
