I sent this breeder (Laura Burns www.tinyimperialshihtzu.com) $675 for a Shorkie puppy in August. I was told the dog checked out at her vet and waited for her to ship to Connecticut. The day before the puppy was to be shipped, she claimed the dog had an eye problem and needed to be monitored by a vet. The treatment lasted conveniently for her, slightly longer than it takes to file a dispute on paypal. Laura Burns claimed to be sending me a refund and claimed to have mailed a money order (which I requested sent through certified mail) and still to this day have not received... Over a month later. She NEVER returns phone calls, and very infrequently reponds to email. If you are purchasing an item from her, you'll receive an email almost instantaneously; however if you're contacting her about a refund... Good luck. This woman is a fraud, a con-artist, a thief, and will make up any excuse to avoid repayment. I'm looking forward to her rebuttal and attacks as I've seen on this forum. AVOID BUSINESS TRANSACTIONS WITH HER!!! I reported her to my credit card company and they are using the legal system to re-coup my losses.
