PayPal is not a bank. It is not FDIC insured, even though it acts like one. Do not leave money in your PayPal account! They can freeze your assets and keep all your money as long as they want.
There are many class action lawsuits now ongoing against this company for fraudulent withholding of customers' money. They froze my assets of over 2,000.00. They also stopped my customers from being able to make payments to me. Since my business was set up around using PayPal, we have not been able to recover from the blow. They have put me under, and my company is now bankrupt. So be careful who you trust, just because they are a big name (owned by eBay, another ripoff).
They will steal from you and say "tough, there is nothing you can do about it." Go to www.paypalwarning.com and you will find links and stories to make your head spin. So if you use them, watch your six, because they are always a step away from taking what is yours.
