I have been looking around the internet in reference to an unsecured loan and i was contacted by this company. (Eastway Referrals) I had asked the agent to please send me his contact number along with the website's name for his company and i did look around and thought his company was reliable since they were based out of New York City. I had mentioned to the agent that i was in looking to obtain a loan and i told him that my credit score was not that great and he told me that it didn't matter what my score was because his company did not do any credit check. He told me he was going to forward me all the necessary documents and they requirements to obtain a loan and the repayment fees and schedule. He told me to sign and fax it back to him. Once he received the paperwork i had sent him he called me and told me that there was a transfer fee that i would have to pay (Which was the sum of $926.00) and the amount of loan was going to be deposited into my account. I was then contacted by "His Supervisor" and she wanted me to call her back or the agent i was working with. I did so and then he told me that i would have to pay an additional fee to take an insurance policy that they offered to their clients in case their clients were to ever get fired or hurt or worse, their client would not have to pay the loan back. I had told him at this time that i couldn't come up with that kind of money and he told me that he would work with me and that if i came up with an additional $500.00 he would "Definately" guarantee my loan because he had spoken with the underwriters and they said it would be fine for me to pay the fee and then once i obtained the loan then i would just have to pay the remaining balance. I did as he asked and then he told me if the funds were not available in 2 hours to call him back. I checked my account and still no funds were deposited. I called him back and then he told me that the underwriters denied my money and that i was gonna get my money refunded to me. He told me to call him back within 15 minutes so he could send my money back to me western union and he still hasnt answered his phone. I have been trying to reach him for 2 days and no answer. And now the worst part of it is when i tried to call him the following monday, the lines are busy and there is a recording saying "The lines are down, Please call back in a few hours"... I trusted this company and wished i could atleast wake up from this nightmare and get my money refunded back to me
