I bought $800 worth of products as Christmas gifts from Brookstone.com. Two of these gifts were given to family members who live far away and that I don't see very often. They just returned them to me this past weekend (1/24) because the heated jacket was too big and the heated glove liners were not working. I bought these items on December 15th, so according to the return policy I was 10 days too late. I called customer service to see if I could at least get store credit in return for these items since they were Christmas gifts and the gift recipients live far away but I was treated rudely by two people I spoke with. I also sent an e-mail to customer service and got a form e-mail back with the return policies. I have been a long term customer with Brookstone, and to be treated this way in these tough financial times, just assures their downfall.
