Nationwide Tax Relief
Failure to refund money after non performance

It is with great pleasure that I write this report in an effort to inform potential customers as to why I feel that they should not use Nationwide Tax Relief. First and foremost they are extremely over priced for the services that they offer. I was able to get an accountant to handle my case in a timely manor for a mere $300 as opposed to the many thousands of dollars that Nationwide Charges for the same services. So do yourself a favor and contact an accountant first and save yourself a ton of money.

Secondly and this is my main point of contention, they refuse to refund me any money even though, and by their own admission, there has been zero performance on one of my two contracts with them. I had two contracts with them two handle two separate cases and although some work, at best minimal, was performed on one there was zero performance on the other. When I informed them that I wanted to cancel my services with them and expected a refund for the contract that wasn't performed on they refused. Not only did they refuse to refund me any money they wouldn't even provide me with a print out showning the time spend on the original and how much of that retainer that I had left.

My other problem with this outfit is that when you call up for an evaluation you may very well qulaify for a settlement at that time. What they fail to inform you of is the fact that if your income happens to increase you may no longer qualify for a settlement and if this is the case once again they intend on keeping the full amount you paid them.

I am working with an attorney to try and recover what I can and hopefully I won't be totally left out in the cold. Like I said though do yourself a favor and save your time and money. If you have a tax issue go and see a local accountant it should cost you a fraction of the money to get the same result. I.R. S settlements are based on numeric formulas so anyone can technically submit an offer and compromise to the IRS. You don't need to pay a lawyer thousands. Hopefully this has informed you of what I unfortunately didn't know.
