Ripoff A company who has supervisors who can't even adjust a bill? How dumb is that?

I write this report in the hopes that I can get some help here, or see what other options I have.

For four months, I have been a customer of TMobile and let me tell you their service sucks! When I signed up with them, they said my credit wasn't good enough, even though I have a car loan and a job that pays well, as so I had go on a "Provisional Plan". I had to put up a $75 deposit that was non refundable.

In the 4 months that I have been with them, I have had numerous problems with people trying to reach me via land line and getting someone else, static, and I have had my service shutoff 2 times. When I asked them why they turned off my service just one day past the due date with no notice, they said that my account status warrants being collected aggressively. Now, I came to them from Sprint, and this is how they treat new customers? Get Real!

The last time they interrupted my service, it was for what they said was my current bill of $50 plus the next months already accruing charges. When I asked how they can collect on a bill that hasn't been rendered, they said they just can. Well, I decided right then and there they were fired!

I called them last night to disconnect service, and get this. After have equipment that doesn't work right, and that they can't fix, and treating me like a criminal, they said I have to pay them a $200.00 contract termination fee! Can you believe it? When I asked to have that waived due to all the bad expierence that I have been put through, the man responded that there was nothing he could do.

So I asked for a supervisor, her name is Kendall, and she just gave me the run around. Her reasoning was that part of the service agreement is if I am having problems with the service, they will work with me to resolve the problem. I told her, that they had already demonstrated that they can't resolve the problem, because as of that very moment, the problem was still occurring! She then said that the only way to waive the $200.00 fee was to write in to their Customer Relations Department, because she did not have the physical ability in the call center to adjust something like that. What a load of crap!

Think about this folks. A company who has supervisors who can't even adjust a bill? How dumb is that? Anyway, I was way ahead of her, because I had already written a page and a half letter of complaint to their customer relations department. Thank goodness I hadn't sent it off, because I added what happened this evening to the letter.

Please, please please! Do not go with TMobile for service. They don't have good coverage, your calls may or may not arrive at your phone, and their reps are horrible with customer service. I have read some threads in here about partying and goofing off in the office. I believe it! I went back to Sprint PCS and they are wonderful. No saying to a new customer "you aren't good enough." Just giving me good service and decent coverage! I work in a call center myself for a large firm, and we would never have spoken or treated a customer, much less a new one, the way TMobile treated me. Beware! If anyone can knows of a way to get out of the $200.00 fee through honest means, please reply to this thread. Thanks!
