To begin, my son takes medication for ADHD. When I opened it and took one out to give it to him, it was 36 mg instead of 18 mg. When I arrived back into town, I took it back and was told without any apologies that I could've given my son 1/2. When I told his doctor, he was outraged. With my son's size, I was told that dosage could've been fatal & Concerta is time released & can't be 1/2ed.
Next, on 2 different occasions, I took my husband's RX for Prozac & was told I had to pay full price since it wasn't generic. The first time, I paid the $90 too much, went outside and called BCBSSC and was told the RX was input wrong. It should've been input DAW. I had to go back the next day because they had closed and get my refund of $90... Again no apologies. They treated me as if I was using welfare. This happened AGAIN last night only they wanted to overcharge me over $300!!! When I explained to the girl that it was input incorrectly she argued with me for quite some time and stomped off. When she came back, she said VERY nasty "That will be $40!" Again no apologies, just rudeness.
When called, druggist said they were too busy to check every RX. Just because someone works in a drugstore doesn't mean they are the only busy ones, I am in banking and have days just as busy or more so DAILY!!! Furthermore, I am in customer service and would never dream of treating my clients in the manner in which I was treated. I could go on and on with the instances, but I finally got some backbone & demanded all of my RX's back so I can finally switch to someone who cares!!!
