This Law Firm told me they can help with a 'LOAN MODIFICATION'. We paid an up front fee and provided all the necessary paper works requested. However, there were just paper works that were never delievered to the lender for consideration. Our lender has made several attempt to obtain these paper works, but the lender's comments was "We could not get of a hold of any one from this law firm to discuss your case". When we call the firm, they rarely reponded. If they do, they are rude as hell. They talk down on you and telling us that we failed to provide needed documenation on time or they do not have our paper to send to the lender. The update have not been consistent. One they will tell us 'NO ONE FROM the Lender CONTACTED THEM'. They scammed me out of my money. They are difficult to get a hold of and failed to keep us updated on the progress.
How many other people have gotten scammed because of loop holes in the law like what this company/firm uses. This is a law firm, so the law allow them to collect up front fee. Can someone please help or look into this so that others will not end up loosing their home like this. I cant blame anyone but myself for being so nieve but it will never happen again. Any advice?
