I am filing a complaint against Suction Horse Productions who is Josh Self. This idiot has been exploiting my father since the summer of 2007.
My father was 76 at that time. He recently lost my mother due to a sudden death. So, alot of things changed in his life. He started going to bars to fill his void. Which I totally agree that was not right. But certain family members didn't want me to butt in.
Well, Josh Self and his crew posted my father on myspace. They say they made a "documentary" about my father at the bars. But on myspace & youtube, THEY have my father listed under: Hilarious, funny, weird and so on.in MY opinion, they only made fun of him to their advantage and in their pockets. On cafepress, they have merchandise with my father's face on them with the link to myspace. Which my father gets not 1 penny of that money. But my biggest complaint is my father is STILL being exploited. And Josh Self does not care that he's hurting my son too in this. This is my son's Grandpa Bill!!! Which that's the name Josh Self is using, Grandpa Bill. This idiot does not care WHO he hurts. Josh Self, you hurt my son blasting his Grandpa Bill across the internet to your advantage.

I don't understand why you are so mad. My friends and I made a not for profit documentary about a really cool and interesting guy. Why do you think we are exploiting him? We haven't made any money off this documentary (in fact we invested a lot of our own free time and money into the film that we never recovered).in any case the documentary is dead. There is no external distribution. We didn't get any fame or fortune off Bill. We did the film because we were friends of his and we loved his story and his lively spirit for a guy his age. Also we wanted to make sure people remembered him. He inspires so many people. Have you seen the film yet? Maybe after you see it you'll realize that nobody is trying to exploit him. As to having it stopped, the film isn't going anywhere so you are wasting your energy. The only real publicity it got was at Sidewalk Film Festival and everyone that saw it said it was very inspirational. I apologize if you perceive the film as exploitative, but there was absolutely no intention to exploit Bill in any manner, and we will continue to believe that we did the right thing and made a great film about a great guy. I hope you can accept Bill for who he is and love him no matter what he does.
