First Data Merchant Processing Services is the absolute worst chice for small businesses to deal with.
The staff is uninformed and they are known to committ fraud.
Our experince as a small business is as follows. Dealing with First Data is a nightmare.in a charge back customer dispute the role of merchant services is to present the merchant to the issuing bank, and the issuing bank has the authority to reject or reverse the charge back.
First Data however, did not represent our company despite the fact that we provided all required documnets.
In other words instead of taking the merchants side, they took the fradulant customer side.
Even the issuing bank who normally takes the side of their own customer tell us that they have never seen a merchant processing service do what First Data has done, as the issuing bank can see that we, the merchant have delivered goos and services but since First Data has not represented us we have lost the money.
While we are still trying to fight First Data, we will be dumping them as our merchant processing service and will choose antoher processing company.
Lastly they overcharge the merchant for transaction, processing, submitting and overall the absolute worst merchant services.
Their reresentatives, including associates, supervisors and seniro supervisors seem to be complete idiots and this is putting it mildly.
One of their supervisors advised us to ship an empty box to a customer who had claimed she didn't receive the merchandise (although we had delivery confirmation), have her sign it and then claim that we did send the package. Our response was why would we send a package when we already have proof od delivery, her response was that we needed to show signed proof of delivery for visa to accept the charge.
So to add to oour previous description of the supervisors, we would say that they are criminal idiots. Whatever you do go find another merchant serive for your small business.
