On May 25 my daughter asked me if she could use her B'day money to have some website level her character on World of Warcraft. I looked at the site and what they claimed they could do and made the foolish assumption it was authentic. Bad call on my part. We proceeded to purchase the $129.99 Leveling package (Lv1-80 Tier7 Package) that claims to take your character to level 70 and also provide the following:
(1) First Aid 450
(2) 300 Riding skill Epic Flying Mount Epic Mount
(3) Cold Weather Flying skill
(4) 20K Gold
(5) Any two profession to 450
(6) 100K honor points
(7) 100 Emblem of Heroism
(8) 100 Emblem of Valor
(9) Complete your class quest
(10) Open your current flight paths (Azeroth Outlands Northrend) Price:$129.99Time: 12
To do this they require your character name and the account password to WoW. Basically they claim they will play your character for you to obtain all this. Well after 12 hours we checked and there was no change to the character. So we proceeded to contact their live chat. The live chat people tell us that it will take 12 days not 12 hours. Oh. Ok. That makes sense. So 12 days later we check the character again and there is still no change.
So we proceed to contact live chat again. BTW, live chat is the only form of contact you have to contact them - that should have been my first clue. At this point I am frustrated and feel like I have been ripped off. So we agree to give them more time after talking with the "virtual person" on live chat. 10 more days goes by and still nothing. So now I proceed to contact live chat again. I explain I am done and I want my money back. They tell me they dont have that authority and that I need to contact a supervisor. They proceed to give me the contact for a supervisor - 1st it was [email protected].
I wrote to that email and sent them all the chat correspondence which I saved and explained I want my money back. I get no response back from this person. I proceed to contact live chat again. This time they tell me to contact [email protected]. I contact this person. This person tells me to contact live chat and they will help resolve my issue. Are you serious? They just told me to call you? - or so Im thinking. So now I dispute the purchase with paypal.com.
After the dispute goes into place, they actually respond by saying "contact live chat and they will help resolve my issue". So I call paypal, they tell me that they can not support any refunds on this because it was a virtual purchase... Lol. But they can give me the contact number they have. 800.608.5738. I call this number and the person on the other end says I need to contact live chat... Lol. What a joke...
As my final attempt, I will be contacting law enforcement or an attorney about filling a mass lawsuit against these a*es... If your smart, heed my warning and dont buy anything from TPMT Game Service Inc. AKA inwowgold.com.
