Grant Finder (name on the debit transaction) has called me endlessly to offer their services. Each operatior spoke such poor English that I was almost unable to understand them (I've lived overseas quite a bit and am used to listening to foreign tongues so this is hard to achieve).
After listening to a long and difficult speech, the representative asked for my debit card info. I asked what they were going to do for me. They answered that they would rewrite my grant application. I was floored. The caller was nearly unable to speak English, much less write legal English. I asked if the caller was an employee of GRANT FINDER. They said, "yes." I have repeatedly said NO and they keep on calling, one unintelligable call after another.
They then sent a debit transaction of $77.82 from my account without any purchase. After stopping the payment with my bank, I called the number they provided in the bank transaction. Their phone number is an invalid telephone number (message 52-3, "We're sorry the number you have dialled is invalid"). How they got my card information is another question. I then Googled the telephone number and discovered www.grant-finder.com in Nicosia, Cyprus (in the Mediteranian Sea).
