Horror, horror, horror. Mike Munoz, the salesperson is a fuc*in predator. Nicole, a "customer service rep" is a despicable person, who in discussion about how disheartening this move was for my elderly parents told me that she hated her dead parents and neither respected or admired ANYONE.
When I assured her that the BBB would get a full report on our horrid experience, she said, "Go ahead, it will do you no good, YOU KNOW WHY, because we pay them and they listen to us - not to you!
Andy was slightly better, even though he flat out lied to me innumerable times, he did adjust the 100% plus increase in the cost from the estimate price.
In the end the cost was brought down from being over by more than 100% to 63% higher than the estimate they gave me using their "trusted" cubic foot proceedure. A preceedure that salesman Mike had said, "could not remeber the last time we were off. I'm tellin ya, we pretty much nail it everytime!"
These people have no values, no integrity.
The bait is Mike; he sells you everything and assures you he is looking out for you. When things start to unravel he becomes totally unavailable and you ARE NOT ALLOWED to speak to him. If voice recognition means anything, it is my belief that when you do get him phone he changes his name to Tom and he becomes "just and office guy".
The " we only use company owned trucks and our own employee, incented workers, becomes a truck with cardboard signs on the doors and 4 guys in Tee shirts. Then the move across 800 miles of highway ends up in the hands of a independent hauler who has a single manpower person on the receiving end to help unload.
Damage to furniture and belongings abounds.
For four days I was told that the delivery would be THAT DAY.
I should have had the police present when they pulled up to make them have to wait till the truck was emptied before they got the Postal Money Order.
These are people without scruples they are predators and provided my brother, sister and myself along with my 90-year-old parents the worst customer experience of the 400 years of our collective lives.
The last time I talked to one of these predators, Andy told me that things were so bad that the company was "going out of business". My parents furniture was still in their hands, er make that a haulers hands, so I elected not to say what came to mind and that was - well at least their are a few PR*CKS that are loosing their jobs.
