If you have the misfortune to deal with Wendy Wilbur I would do whatever you can not to. If Wendy Wilbur is the listing agent on a house do not bother to go see that house. Realtor: Whether you are a buyer's agent or listing agent Wendy Wilbur will do everything she can to get your commission cut and get you fired by your broker. Wendy Wilbur does this by constantly attempting to obtain personal information on the person that you are representing. Then report you to your broker for violating RESPA. Wendy Wilbur will also go out of her way to to not communicate with you any relevant information on the transactions for days or weeks at a time. I've witnessed several times where Wendy Wilbur refused to return phone calls and emails from people involved in the transaction such as title companies, other real estate agents and loan officers. When we went to her office we found her in returning calls to other people so she was deliberately ignoring our calls for information on a property.
Loan Officers or Mortgage Professionals: Wendy Wilbur will do everything she can to make sure you make nothing. Wendy Wilbur feels that Loan Officers are simply a necessary evil. I had one client attempting to get a loan that Wendy Wilbur was involved in. Wendy Wilbur kept asking questions from everyone that she could ask information from and when Wendy Wilbur felt that she had sufficient information, gathered from other sources, she accused one loan officer of violating RESPA.
