Directv is a rip-off, or better said, bait and switch. They say that with the movie package you can get 3 months of free movies and a free DVR. You are obligated to pay for these services later, so they are not free. I could have gotten a free HiDef/DVR with all the movies at a much lower price with Dish Network.
I tried to cancel with only 10 days of service, and Directv said they would attach my credit record if I canceled.
