Stole files for which he was paid. Theft, Fraud, False Advertising, Trademark Infringement, Alabama & Columbus, Georgia and Georgia

In our company hired Rondal Scott III, who operates out of his apartment as Ghostlab Studio, to provide graphic design and other entry-level duties for our customers. Subsequently, even though he continued to work as a salaried employee in our office each day, we agreed to pay Mr. Scott's company as independent contractor.

Unfortunately, Mr. Scott became so difficult to work with that virtually every person in our company complained.in fact, Mr. Scott became so difficult that we ended up sending much of his work to a third party designer and paid her to redo the work that we had already paid Rondal to do.

On 4/15/09, Mr. Scott asked to receive his Friday paycheck in advance on Wednesday. Regrettably, we trusted him and paid him in advance. The following day he stole over 100 digital files from our office (to which he has admitted in writing)... And actually had the gall to request that we continue to send business to Ghostlab Studio.

After contacting our attorney, we placed a stop payment on his check and advised him that if he did not return our property, that we would file criminal charges. Only after threatening legal action did Rondal Scott did return some of our files. However, many are still missing and we are pursuing both criminal and civil remedies (including four felony charges in two different states).

We were Ron Scott's and Ghostlab Studio's biggest client. This is our reference for him:

1. Despite the fact that Ghostlab Studio displays 33 clients on www.ghostlabstudio.com, the reality is that only 2 were clients of Ghostlab or Ron Scott.in fact, he has not even so much as had contact with the 31 of the companies that he describes as clients.instead, these were files that were stolen from our office.

Simply call any of the customers on Ghostlab's site and ask them for a reference for Ghostlab. With the exception of 2 out of 33, the only ones that will have even heard of Ghostlab Studio or Rondall Scott are the ones who are filing suit against him for trademark infringement. His website is fiction and tantamount to Fraud and False Advertising.

2. Despite the fact that our company paid Mr. Scott over $15,000 over the course of six months to create files for our clients, he stole the very files for which he was paid and then went on to falsely advertise them as his own clients. As previously stated, criminal warrants have been initiated for his actions.

Obviously, we are not satisfied with the work, theft of our property, or service that we received. Based on our very poor experience, we would recommend hiring any of the amply available freelance artists available on the internet instead of Ghostlab Studio or Rondal Scott III.
