Victimized disabled employee false promises & slow processing insurance claim ignored & totally disregarded no human compassion

Concorde Limousine has treated me as if I have no personal value what-so-ever. It's unconcieveable that a company could treat an employee so unfairly just because they had the misfortune of being injured at the
workplace. They have shown no good faith in filing the proper claims in the appropriate time frame. If I was at their mercy, my son & I would be homeless at this time.

According to State of New Jersey Department of Labor Division of Temporary Disability Insurance, Workmans Compensation, an employer has 72 hours to file a claim with their insurance carrier if an employee is injured at
work. At least this is what I was told by an information specialist in Trenton.

I slipped and fell on a wet floor and left work in an ambulance. The president, vice-president and operations manager were all present at some point, so it is not a matter of no one knowing what happened. Concorde
Limousine did not report my injury, which occurred 1/17/03, until 3/3/03.

Due to this delay I have not recieved any of the Workmans Compensation that I am entitled to. I have recieved NO INCOME since my last pay check in January.

A few days after I contacted Concorde regarding a bill I recieved from the emergency room, I got a phone call from the VP explaining that business was slow and they were letting me and others I started with go (2/07/03).

When I went to the office to retrieve personal items, I noticed new hires and employees hired after me working.

I lost track (after 20) of the number of phone calls I made to the accounting department, which handles workers comp., regarding my case and why I had not recieved any form of compensation. As it turned out the reason was that they DID NOT FILE A CLAIM.

I have sent to them, by certified mail, a form for them to complete so that I can recieve benefits from the state. It has been over two weeks and I have yet to recieve said form. I need this form to collect my
benefits.

I was confined to my bed & using a bed pan for 3 weeks due to my injuries (left ankle & foot, right knee & seperated right shoulder). I have had to deplete my savings and borrow money from everyone I know to pay out for hundreds of dollars of prescriptions, ice packs, heat wraps, etc. Once I was able to walk, I couldn't drive my car because it is a stick. Add on taxi expense.

I am still in a constant state of pain and require knee surgery, which Concorde's insurance has denied.

I thank God every day for my parents and fiance. If I did not have them, my son & I would be homeless because of Concordes neglegance. The stress level in my life has gone up ten-fold just dealing with their insurance
company, trying to get necessary medical treatment approved, trying to get Concorde to help, just with this 1/2 page form, so I can recieve workers comp.

This is just my experience with Concorde Limousine. I believe, when it boils down to the bottom line, it's all about $ and insurance premiums.

I foolishly believed I would go to the Dr., get fixed, collect workmans comp than go back to work. I never in my wildest nightmare imagined this personal hell. I cannot fathom doing this to anyone. Where would I be if
I didn't have my loved ones to fall back on? What really gets me through the night is my faith and my belief in Karma.

I just hope this saves even one person from going through what I have with Concorde Limousine.

Since I 1st wrote this I recieved a call from my Dr.'s office. They told me that since my knee surgery has been denied, they can no longer refill my pain medication and that I have to go through a pain management center, which will have to be approved by the insurance company. I am hitting a wall with every new day and this has been getting worse since January!
