I received the American Eagle Charge card, attached to a piece of paper which reads "Receive free shipping with $50 AE Cred Card purchase at ae.com and aerie.com"
I spent over $50 and used the AE Card.
The computer billed me for shipping rather than giving me free shipping.
I called customer service, who said I had to have a code from the charge card department in order to get free shipping. They transferred me to the charge card department, who said they didn't have a code, and if I wanted a discount only customer service could issue the credit for shipping, and transferred me back to customer service.
Go back to previous paragraph and repeat this nonsense in perpetuity.
