Training was great, 3 wks. Out with trainer, no problems. Get back to yard, test out, no problem. It's when you are done the nightmare begins! If you go company, plan on waiting as long as 21 days for a truck, we all know a company can get you a truck immediately, right? This is all part of the scam. They tell you if you sign a lease, we have a truck immediatley for you at this point you have not been home for 4 weeks no big deal, we expected this right? If you wait out the weeks they tell you it takes to get company truck you are gone as much as 7 weeks. They pay you $50 a day while you wait, if you go home and wait they dont pay you. Sign a lease and you are down the road, wonderful! Put in for your home time because you havn't been home in x amount of weeks, you have no tools for your truck, supplies or anything you you need to be comfortable on the road, so you need to go home, right? Wrong, you go home and tahh. Dahh. You are in the hole! And you owe them money. My truck had, so i'm told, 3 recalls in 2 months at one point i was down for 4 days stranded in NJ at my own expense, they tell you loaner truck available to you, wrong! They gave me a whopping $85 for 4 days! Stranded in MO on another recall, 3days down at my expense, imagine how deep in the hole i am this point. They gave me one decent run, trying to help me get outa the hole, guess they seen i have earned a check in 12 weeks, no joke 12 weeks. Dispatched from CO to FL, nice run right, wrong. They routed me back to KS to the yard, red tagged the trailer on load i picked up and was down 3 days w/out a load. They make you wait so you do sign a lease, knowing you are anxious to get down the road. This company needs to be held liable for what they are doing to students, i am in bakruptcy now, thanx Trans Scam Trucking! Dont be a victim, join "Truckers Against Company Lease" if we all band together, we can stop what this and all companies are doing to new drivers trying to earn an honest living.
