My heater stopped working this past winter, during a cold snap. I opened up the phone book to find someone to repair it. I chose this company because it was a Sunday and thay advertised, no extra charge on weekends.
They told me, after looking at my heater, that I needed a new part, which would cost approx. 300.00 (I dont remember the name of the part) and that they could get it the next day and install it. A guy came to my house the next day, installed the new part and I paid him.
He left my house without giving me a reciept, so I called him on his cell phone. He stated he woud be right back with my reciept and at that time I asked him if he could give me my old part.
When he arrived at my home, the garage was still open from him being there. He went up into the attic, while he was yelling something about me not trusting him, and removed the unit he had intalled, all the while I was telling him to get off my property. I called the police, but they did not get there on time.By the way, he did leave my old part.
I called someone else to come look at my heater and this person inspected the old part and told me there only needed to replace some wires at a cost of about 100.00. This company is stealing part that are repairable and selling new part when not necessary.
