I was contracted by Wehaul movers. Wehaul is a big pimp. Wehaul contracted Best Price Moving & Storage out of Chicago. I was confirmed for pick up twice then the day of my pick up I was cancelled because their truck was to full. When they did finally pick me up they were almost three hours late. Best Price Moving & Storage delivered to me ten days past the date on contract. I was picked up on Nov. 28 and delivered Dec. 23. I slepy on an air mattress for almost a month.
I was given a low price then they raised it by $500.00 I was charged for packing materials that was never used and they will do nothing about. The driver did not even have enough moving blankets to protect my furniture. I let them borrow my personal blankets so my stuff would be protected. The person that sold me the move is from Wehaul movers. His name is Michael Chavez. He sold me, took my deposit, and I never heard from him again. The movers who picked me up were still hung over from the night before.
The movers stood in my bedroom cursing at each other about the previous nights drinking. When I did get my furniture my couch was torn and my treadmill broken as well I was missing my brand new Susie Orman organizer that cost about $80. Wehaul movers will do nothing about the broken items. My over all experience sucked. I wish I could punch Michael Chavez right in his eye. Please beware of Wehaul movers and Best Price Moving & Storage.
