The fiasco started with an ad that stated there were billions in govt. Grants available and showed a pic of hands holding check with subtitle"I got my check in 7 days" I signed for a thirty day trial of online access to their resource guide, for $1.95 I unchecked the other "free offers" on the order page. This was on the 18th of Feb. The information was very hard to understand and led me through a maze of different internet sites that were extremely difficult to figure the point of the "step by step instructions". I cancelled the service via email on 27 Feb. On the 11th of March my unemployment debit card was charged their monthly fee which was only 20 days of the 30 day trial. After I promptly called them they immediately told me that I agreed to the charges on the confirmation page which I never reviewed entirely because the disclaimer was hidden in the image setting on my email provider. So I never saw it because I thought it only blocked images not words. Well the next day there was another charge on my debit card for a smaller amount which I thought I cancelled the prior day. After looking at the conformation page again I discovered that there were 2 other services that I know I didn't agree to by unchecking the boxes on the order page. They both had the same phone number to cancel. I called the number and got a recording saying that "this number cannot be reached from your calling area" I have never heard that before in my life. I then went to the web addresses to cancel and there are no links or options to contact them or cancel the service. I am assuming that it is the same people and the message is a recording they have hooked up to a machine. So I am guessing since there is no way to cancel that i need to cancel my card and get a new one. The entire offer is a scam not only that but they make it extremely difficult to cancel, they take the money way before the "billing cycle" and the extra services I know I didnt order by unchecking the boxes cannot be cancelled by email or phone and of course there are no postal addresses on any of the web pages. I checked my online statement and there is a phone number next to the charges that i called and they or inoperable as well. So even if you dispute the charges with your bank they cant get ahold of anyone to discuss the dispute with. These thieves have covered all the bases watch out they use several different nemes and web addresses and also use a different name when they charge your account. The only thing I found in common was to unsubscribe from future emails was A&A media in Palatine State, Illinois. I'm sure they must know something more of this or they may be the perpitraitors themselves.
