I bought a Chefmate 1.7 cubit foot refrigerator from Target in August.in February the refrigerator just stopped working... Period. Everything it in went bad, just for no reason. When I tried to retrieve my receipt the ink was all rubbed off (I think Target uses that type of paper and ink just for that purpose). I then called Target's customer service number and was told to call the manufacturer Haier because they were the one who made the fridge. When I called them, they said they did not make the refrigerator, and to call Target back. When I called back I spoke to this ignorant female who kept asking me for all kinds of numbers and acting as if I was stupid. I gave her the serial number, the model number, everything that was there. She then said none of those numbers matched with what she had, and there was nothing she could do. Also, when you go online to try to find Chefmate's customer service number, you can't, and the customer service number on the instruction manuel rings busy 24-7. Smells like a scam to me. As for Target, how are you going to sell a product you can't trace, and have receipts in which the ink rubs off. Target and Chefmate don't ever have to worry about me spending another dime with them. Don't do business with a company who cares nothing about their customers, they don't want to be fair. They just want your money.
