These people are complete con artists. I gave them $5000 to aid in my music project. That was supposed to include photos, creation of a bio, creation of a press kit, shopping to record labels, and publicity to magazines and other media outlets. The only thing that actually happened was the photo shoot. After that, they would say the most insane things to try to pretend they were doing the rest, and ask for more money. ("MTV loved your music. I need $300 more dollars to pay for press releases to try to get you to perform on Spring Break" "The Def Jam A&R is doing me a favor and putting your demo on his bosses desk. He's only asking for $800 to do this).
It didn't take long for me to suck it up and accept the fact I got jerked. When I started to ask for specific things, like meetings with the so-called music professionals the know, they just stopped returning my calls. When I met them they had a very professional looking portfolio which sucked me in. I couldn't find anything negative online about them, so I entered into the agreement (too bad these posts didn't appear last summer!).
If you've been beaten by them and are having trouble contacting them, I have the following addresses and numbers for them. I don't know how authentic the addresses are, but the phone numbers worked today (I only got voice mails, no answers... But at least they work).
