Lazzara Liquor catering was contracted to do a liquor catering bar for a relatives wedding. Mr. John Lazzara took a deposit for the liquor catering upstairs at his liquor store on Kennedy Blvd.in Tampa promising certain services and I fully paid a week before the weding. The afternoon of the event we find that Mr. John Lazzara has sent Mr. Boston Vodka in Grey Goose bottles, the single Malt Scotch we requested special and paid for was no where to be found.
Family members spotted a bartender in his company van at the Higgins Hall (ST. Lawrence Catholic Church) parking lot pouring cheap liquor into the more expensive liquor bottles that I had bought. The beer that was at the wedding was not of the level I had requested.in essence what I had bought was not at the wedding. An employee of Lazzara's told me that this was done at all of Lazzara's liquor catering functions. And this is the worst part of the whole screwed up ordeal.
The following Monday morning I called Mr. Lazzara and when I finally did get him on the phone to tell him about our dissatisfaction. I was cussed-out, called a liar and physically threatened. And this more than anything else is the reason I want to tell the public not to use Lazzara Liquor Catering.
